BUYING & OPERATIONS INTERN

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Jacqlour is a women's clothing boutique that strives to make women feel confident and beautiful. We research the latest fashion trends and purchase from vendors all over the world to offer the best styles and silhouettes to meet consumers' demands for comfort, versatility, durability, or overall aesthetic appearance. Our mission is to elevate one's wardrobe by providing fashionable merchandise at an affordable price. This internship will give you a chance to gain a unique experience from having the ability to work with the owner in an exciting and fun environment, to benefits including college credit, a fabulous discount, and the opportunity to travel for pop-ups and trade shows.
 
We are looking for a Buying and Operations Intern to assist and partner with the Buyer to maintain store inventories and forecast customer demand.
 
The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion and is excited to learn about new trends within the Fashion Industry.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the daily operations of the Buyer
• Enter purchase orders and inventory into the Point-of-Sale System (POS)
• Report and analyze best-selling brands, sizes, and styles from sales data
• Receive, unpack, inspect, tag & package/ship new merchandise
• Update inventory onto the Shopify E-commerce site

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• High School diploma or equivalent 
• Fluency in English, excellent written and communication skills
• Strong organization skills 
• Readiness to learn with a positive attitude

 
FULL DESCRIPTION:

• We are looking for a motivated buying and operations intern to join our team, working closely with the Buyer to maintain store inventories and forecast customer demand
• Availability to work 2-3 days in store per week (15-20 hours/week)
• This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates in fashion, communications, marketing, or public relations
• This internship offers a unique hands-on experience to learn directly from the owner on how to grow a small business

SOCIAL MEDIA/PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN

We are looking for a Social Media Intern to create content and edit/manage Jacqlour’s growing social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok. 
 
The ideal candidate is obsessed with social media and is creative and thoughtful when interacting with online communities and building relationships.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Help create social media content as directed by the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales and products
• Keep track of day-to-day social media communications and campaigns, assist with graphic design needs
• Suggest and implement tactics to drive growth on all social media platforms including experimenting with new platforms
• Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and responding to comments and questions through the boutique’s social pages
• Write relevant, engaging, and descriptive captions for all posts
• Research best practices and industry insights to stay on top of trends
• Maintain mailing database

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• High School diploma or equivalent 
• Passion for creative and relevant content creation, particularly in social media marketing and public relations
• Candidates should have an in-depth understanding of digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok
• Fluency in English, excellent written and communication skills
• Strong organization skills 
• Readiness to learn with a positive attitude

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

This internship will give you a chance to gain a unique experience from having the ability to work with the owner in an exciting and fun environment, to benefits including college credit, a fabulous discount, and the opportunity to travel for pop-ups and trade shows.

We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to create graphics and manage Jacqlour’s growing email marketing platform. 
 
The ideal candidate has a strong interest in graphic design and demonstrates creativity in their work. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•  Assist in eye-catching graphics for social media (Instagram posts, stories, reels
  covers, etc.)
• Design email marketing visuals (headers, promo banners, product spotlights)
• Support with branding elements like mood boards
• Create graphics for in-store signage, sale events, and window displays
•  Help maintain a cohesive aesthetic across all platforms that aligns with the
  boutique’s brand
• Collaborate with the social media team on upcoming promotions and campaigns
